So, I know I've barely put any effort poking around here, but... meh... I still don't see any point to yet another social media platform and so far the only thing people have stated as a benefit is that it can connect you to other social media platforms that I also don't use.
I've dug in my heels over at Dreamwidth. I've got a Circle of plenty of people and communities there (enough that I might need to prune it a bit later in the year when I decide who I'm really interested in interacting with and who is just adding to the noise). I've got a tag system for keeping track of entries going back a couple of years. I've got a nice archive of my art posts linked there. (My goal is to post more good stuff to AO3, but there will always be that crap that I'm only willing to share with friends that will outnumber the good ones.) I've cultivated a filter of more casual friends who are willing to listen to my whiny, non-fannish posts. I've got a ton of icons and I just updated my mood theme with bunny rabbits.
Point being, I'm comfy at Dreamwidth. It's like home. This is like that party I only went to because I was promised free booze but the guy who was supposed to bring the booze is running late and no one can figure out how to connect the sound system. (History suggests that five minutes after I go home, there will be booze and my favorite pizza and everyone will tell me what a shame it was that I didn't stick around. I'm fully aware of this. I will probably continue to check in at random intervals to see if there's any booze yet.)
